Deluxe Corporation’s Small Business Revolution to Hold Celebration July 21

Public invited to final day of filming documentary series which culminates in concert at Honeywell Center Plaza at 7 p.m.

SHOREVIEW, Minn. – July 11, 2016 – Deluxe Corporation is inviting small business owners, community leaders and Wabash residents to take part in a special celebration on Thursday, July 21, from 7-8 p.m. at the Honeywell Center plaza. This special event marks the end of the filming of the Small Business Revolution – Main Street documentary series, a contest Wabash won in May.

For the past several weeks, Deluxe marketing professionals have been working with local officials and small business owners in Wabash, infusing $500,000 in business services and advice, physical improvements and updated equipment. Downtown Wabash has also enjoyed several improvements including the new Mammoth Park, new signage for businesses downtown, park benches and more. A documentary film crew has been capturing the changes and challenges local business owners endure in a series that will appear on www.smallbusinessrevolution.org in the fall.

The public is invited to take part in the final hour of filming at the Honeywell Center where Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and Amanda Brinkman, chief brand and communications officer for Deluxe, will address the crowd and thank Wabash for hosting the Deluxe team.small business win pic2

Free food and beverages will be available as well as a champagne toast.

Immediately following the speeches, a free concert will be performed by Matt Tedder of Austin, Texas, a recording artist who appeared on season 10 of the hit NBC-TV show The Voice.

“Filming this documentary series and connecting with the people of Wabash has been an incredible experience for all of us,” said Cameron Potts, vice president of public relations and community management for Deluxe.potts 3 “There has been such a great outpouring of support for this project and we really want to pack the plaza for this final event. We really hope people can come out on a Thursday night, enjoy some time with family and friends, and help us really capture how fantastic this experience has been.”

The entire event will be filmed as part of the eight-part documentary series. People of all ages are invited to come to this event to culminate the Small Business Revolution – Main Street project. The public is encouraged to arrive between 6:30-6:45 p.m. with activities set to begin immediately at 7 p.m.
