More 4-H Judging Monday and a Look at Tuesday Events

WABASH,IN  Livestock judging began in earnest Monday morning at the Wabash County 4-H Fair.
Judging in the Poultry Show kicked off the week long fair, with action taking place in the poultry tent at the Wabash County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Cash Cartwright’s hen won Grand Champion Egg and Makenna Proffitt’s won Reserve Grand Champion Egg. Meanwhile, Megan Baxter received Grand Champion Commercial Meat Duck honors.
Zach Michel showed the Grand Champion Turkey and Brandon Wagoner showed the Grand Champion Meat Chicken.
Torina Runkel showed Grand Champion Exhibition Chicken and Liber Price showed the Reserve Grand Champion Exhibition Chicken.
Matthew Klinger received Senior Showmanship and Supreme Showmanship honors, while Torina Runkel received Intermediate Showmanship honors and Andrew Prickett received Beginner Showmanship honors.

Quentin Dale received Supreme Showmanship at the 4H Goat Show on Monday night.
It was the second livestock show on the official first day of the 2016 Wabash County 4-H Fair.
Kaden Rody’s animal received Best Of Show Dairy Doe honors, while Karson Pratt showed Grand Champion Dairy Market Goat.
Karson Prayt showed the Grand Champion Heavyweight Dairy Market Goat.
Ryan Driscoll showed the Grand Champion Meat Goat Market Doe
Reid Votaw showed the Grand Champion Pygmy Market Goat and Heavyweight Market Champion Division. McKenzie Roth received Reserve Grand Champion Market Pygmy Goat

Tuesday, July 12th, the Beef and Veal Show will be held at 8am in the Show Arena. The Rabbit Ambassador is at 9am in the Rabbit and Poultry Arena, followed by the Rabbit Show at 1pm. The Sheep Show will be held at 4pm in the Show Arena. The Dairy Show will be held at 7pm in the Show Arena. The Karaoke Contest will be at the outdoor stage from 6 to 8pm.
