Traffic Stop Leads to Possession Charge in North Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER,IN  On Friday, July 8, 2016 at about 6 p.m., North Manchester Police Office Derek Sessoms pulled over a car at Thorn and West Streets for a traffic violation.  At the car Officer Sessoms could smell a strong odor that he associates with raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  Upon investigation, two baggies containing a brown leafy substance were found.  A narcotics field test showed that it tested positive as marijuana.  Initial total weight was indicated to be 23 grams.  Blake Hudson, North Manchester, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and cited for the traffic offense.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court of law.
