Urbana Man Convicted of Criminal Confinement and Domestic Battery

URBANA, Ind. – Buddy Livesay, age 27, from Urbana, Indiana was convicted of two criminal offenses following a two day jury trial held in the Wabash Circuit Court on September 13 and 14, 2016. He was convicted of Criminal Confinement, a Level 5 Felony, and Domestic Battery, a Level 6 Felony. The Court has set the matter for sentencing for October 14, 2016 at 10:30am.

The facts of case were that on July 7, 2016, Mr. Livesay confined his girlfriend in his vehicle while driving from Wabash to their residence in Urbana. Mr. Livesay also battered his girlfriend in the physical presence of a six year old child. The case was investigated by the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department.

Wabash County Prosecutor William C. Hartley Jr. represented the State of Indiana and the Defendant was represented by Attorney Kristina Lynn.
