SALVATION ARMY NEEDS HELP

ALL MONEY RAISED IN WABASH COUNTY STAYS IN WABASH
COUNTY!

Salvation Army of Wabash County desperately needs 2
volunteers to deliver and pick up kettles and deposit money to the bank
between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The kettles will be set up at Walmart
and Kroger. What we collect Ringing the Bells is what we have to spend
next year to help our families in Wabash County. Please contact the
Salvation Army office at 260-274-0027, leave a message and I will get back
to you ASAP.
We also need Bell Ringers to help raise money for families in Wabash
County with their electricity, if up for disconnect; rent, if up for eviction;
prescriptions, hotel stay, and gasoline. You may sign up at
www.registertoring.com and choose your location, day, and time to ring.
You may also call Deborah at 260-563-8970 to register. Ringing will be at
Walmart and Kroger in Wabash and New Market in North Manchester.
We are asking school organizations to take a little time to give back to the
community. This can go towards their service hours. Every hour that we
have a bell ringer, means just that much more money collected. Churches
or organizations can sign up to take a whole or half day. We keep track of
how much you collect and let you know.
There are 4 ways you can donate money this year. First, drop money into
the Big Kettles at Walmart, Kroger, and New Market. Second, there will be
a bar code on the Big Kettles that you can scan with your phone to donate.
Third, little counter kettles will be placed at several different businesses
that you can put money in. Last, you may write a check to Salvation Army,
477 N. Wabash St., Wabash, IN 46992.
Jesus said, “When you do one of these things to someone overlooked or
ignored—–you did it to me”.
Salvation Army is a part of the Wabash Area Ministerial Association and a
United Fund Agency.
