“Due to contact tracing, we have a number of students who will need to quarantine during this time. Those families will be notified today. Quarantining means those students should isolate themselves at home during this time.
“From Thursday, Nov. 5, through Nov. 15, Wabash High School will operate its classes via eLearning. eLearning information will be released later today via class canvas and through Wabash City Schools website. Students will be expected to participate in eLearning.
“Heartland Career Center, IUK and Ivy Tech will continue to operate as normal. As long as your child is not quarantining, they will be allowed at Heartland, IUK and Ivy Tech. The Heartland Career Center and IUK bus will pick up and drop off in the normal locations.
“At this time, Wabash High School athletics will continue. Updated practice information will be released later today.
“During this time, lunches will continue to be provided. Lunches can be picked up at O.J. Neighbours from 11:15 to 11:45. Additional information will follow.
“At noon, Wabash High School will release its students. We are arranging buses for bus riders. Students who can drive and student walkers will be released. Parents may pick up students in front of Wabash High School.
“During this time, we will continue to operate L.H. Carpenter, O.J. Neighbours Elementary and Wabash Middle School in person.
