Noland Facing Resisting And Dealing Meth Charges

WABASH,Indiana — On May 23, 2016 at approximately 11:16 p.m. Sgt. Nick Brubaker allegedly observed a traffic violation near Wabash and Market Street.  Sgt. Brubaker stated he attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect vehicle failed to stop and continued North on Wabash and turned East on Sinclair Street.  Sgt. Brubaker alleges the suspect fled from the vehicle and he was immediately apprehended without incident.

The driver was identified as Larry L. Noland, 51, Wabash.  Noland was later transported to Wabash County Jail.  A vehicle inventory was conducted before the vehicle was impounded.  Captain Ryan Short and Sgt. Brubaker allege that Methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, and a smoking device were located in the vehicle.  Noland was preliminarily arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement with a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Dealing Methamphetamine.
