PERU,Indiana – A special Memorial Day weekend is planned in Miami County to remember those veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Thanks to them, we have the freedom we enjoy today and we are all very thankful. Miami County VA Service Officer Jay Kendall on where the services will take place this holiday weekend.
This is a special weekend for everyone to remember those men and women who have served our country even though the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 will be held on Sunday in Indianapolis.
