PERU, Ind. – Miami County Helping Hands WALK-FOR HUNGER will be Saturday, September 17th, at 10:00, beginning at 176 North Broadway, Peru. This event is to help people that need support, by coming together to support each other. CEO and Founder, Hershel Manheart, of the Miami County Helping Hands, says this is the biggest fundraiser.
This year’s theme is “OUR COMMUNITY STANDS IN UNITY.” The WALK-A-MILE for Hunger is to raise funds for Helping Hands. This year any military, police, EMA, firefighter, and any other service member in the community is asked to please join the Miami County Helping Hands WALK-A-MILE for HUNGER, on Saturday morning at 10:00, 176 North Broadway, Peru.
