Roselyn May Farley, 75, made her journey to heaven to be with Jesus at 10:08 a.m. on July 6, 2017, surrounded by her family and dear friends. She faced her battle with cancer with beauty, bravery, and courage. Roselyn was born May 7, 1942, along with her twin sister, Rosilyn Kay, in North Manchester, Indiana, at home, to Charles and Evelyn (Barr) Young.

She married the love of her life, Jack D. Farley, on September 1, 1963. Roselyn was a dedicated farm wife, always assuring the men were fed and well taken care of. She was a registered nurse who loved caring for her patients at Marion General Hospital, from which she retired in 2002.

She loved her family and friends passionately, always giving of herself with such a generous heart. She also loved her church family at Harmony Christian Church, Leisure, Indiana, camping with her friends, and shopping with her sisters.

In addition to her loving husband, Roselyn will be forever cherished by her children Bryan (Sherri) Farley and Tammy (Bill) Cornelious; grandchildren Brittany (Shane) Middlesworth, Brandon (Shelby) Farley, Justin (Alicia) Cornelious, and Jordon (Crystal) Cornelious; great-grandchildren Ava, Remington, and Barrett Middlesworth, Milli and Chaynee Farley, and Ezekiel Cornelious; siblings Barbara (Victor) Devore, Rosilyn (Donald) Vyhnalek, and Steven (Mary) Young; sister-in-law Virginia (James) Jones; step-sister Janis (Bill) Studinka; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends John and Janet Miley and Eddie and Terri Strohl.

She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws Walter and Florene Farley; step-mother-in-law Janette (Comer) Farley and step-mother Charline (Wasson) Young.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services College Park Chapel. A visitation for Roselyn will be on Monday, July 10, 2017, at Harmony Christian Church, 9043 W. 1800 N., Elwood, Indiana 46036 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ron Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Knox Chapel Cemetery.
