William “Bill” L. King, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to Walter King II and Anita (Shatto) McNeal on May 1, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Southwood High School. He was a small business owner in Seminole, Oklahoma. He enjoyed his music and also enjoyed traveling all over the country.
Bill is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Tia) King of Wabash, Indiana, James (Staci) King of Wabash, and Kalib Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter King III of Warsaw, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Rodney King, and three sisters, Cindy King, Anabelle King, and Katherine Anne Marks.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana with Pastor Solomon David officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the funeral home.
