Walter A. Peer, 71, of Gas City, passed away in his home at 6:12 pm on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, May 19, 1952, to Walter and Betty (Siebert) Peer. He married Deborah (Bilby), who survives.
He loved to go deer hunting and spend time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Walter is survived by his wife, Deborah Peer of Gas City; son, Walter A. (Trisha) Peer, Jr. of Buckley, MI; daughters, Tisha (Patrick) Cox of Howell, MI, Sharon Gunter of Ithica, MI; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cheryl Chaney, Pam Johnson, Kathy Peer, Janet Ensor, and Bonnie Lloyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. and Betty Charlene Peer; and brother, George Peer.
At Walter’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
