WABASH – The Wabash Garden Fest is this Saturday August 20 from 6am-3pm. This year’s theme is about recycling and upcycling. The Chair Affair is a popular annual event at the Garden Fest and is a fund-raiser for local charities. Co-Chair Lisa Betzner explained to Mi-Bash news how people and businesses decorate up old chairs for the cause.
There will also be 20 kids that have painted up a chair and will be there at 2:30pm to see if anyone bids on their creation! The Cubs are flying out Friday Aug 19th for Nassau, Bahamas. Betzner also said the auction is a the number one fund-raiser for their organization.
