WABASH – Representatives from the Wabash Fire Department and the Wabash County YMCA were on hand Friday to help present Mark Koopman, executive director for the Hoosier Burn Camp, with a check for $2,057.49.
Firefighters from around Wabash County raised the funds in September during the fourth annual stair climb event in memory of emergency personnel who lost their lives in the Sept. 11 terror attacks, and three local firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
