Wabash County Bicentennial Torch Relay Route

4:00pm Receive Torch from Grant County at the Circle K Gas Station in LaFontaine Torch will travel via Trolley No. 85 from LaFontaine to Wabash on State Road 15

Upon entering Wabash, the Torch will travel North on Miami St. from Wabash St. stopping at the Visit Wabash County Office

4:20pm Torch will exit Trolley No. 85 in front of Visit Wabash County office
Mayor Scott Long will carry the torch North on Miami St. to just North of Hill St.

4:25pm Natalie Guenin Unger will receive the torch and continue North on Miami St. to just north of the Ferry St. intersection

4:30pm Clint Kugler will receive the torch and will continue North of Miami St. to the intersection of Crestwood Dr.

4:35pm Jason Callahan will receive the torch and will continue on Miami St., passing in front of Wabash High School, until just south of the Harrison Ave. intersection

4:40pm Steve Ford will receive the torch and will turn East on Harrison Ave. and will continue to just West of Wabash St.

4:45pm John Foor will receive the torch and will turn North on Wabash St. and will continue to the Sheridan St. intersection

4:50pm Michael Beauchamp will receive the torch and will continue North on Wabash St. and will enter OJ Neighbors Elementary campus via the South drive and will continue to their main entrance where Trolley No. 85 will be waiting

5:00pm Brady Burgess will receive the torch and enter Trolley No. 85. The torch will continue via Trolley No. 85 North on Wabash St. and then turn East on US24. The caravan will then turn North on State Road 13 to North Manchester. The caravan will turn South on East St. and enter the Manchester University Campus.

5:25pm Trolley No. 85 will stop on East St. just North of Orchard St. and Brady Burgess will exit the trolley and continue South on East St. on foot with the torch.

5:30pm Dave McFadden will receive the torch in front of the Student Union building and continue South on East St. He will turn West on College Ave. and continue to just East of Wayne St.

5:35pm Joel and Joshua Garber, who are representing their father Christopher Garber, will receive the torch on College Ave. just East of Wayne St. and will continue west on College Ave. to Walnut St.

5:40pm Mike Pyle will receive the torch and continue West on College Ave. and then turn South on Market St. and continue until 9th St.

5:45pm Sally Krouse will receive the torch just South of 9th St. and continue South on Market St. to the Thomas Riley Marshall House.

5:50pm There will be a brief pause at the Thomas Riley Marshal House for approximately 15 minutes.

6:05pm Jeff Hawkins will receive the torch in front of the Thomas Riley Marshall House and will continue South on Market St. to just North of Main St.

6:10pm Jabin Burnworth will receive the torch and will continue South on Market St. turning West on Main St. and continuing to the North Manchester Public Safety Building.

6:20pm Sam Frazier will receive the torch in front of the North Manchester Public Safety Building and will then enter Trolley No. 85 for the return trip to Wabash.

Trolley No. 85 will proceed West on Main St. and then turn South on State Road 13 to return to Wabash. The caravan will continue South on Manchester Ave. in Wabash and then turn South on Wabash Street. The caravan will then turn East on Market St. and stop in front of the Wabash County Historical Museum.

6:40pm Sam Frazier will exit Trolley No. 85 in front of the museum and continue East on Market St. on foot with the torch. He will enter Paradise Spring Historic Park where the torch relay will conclude and the local celebration will begin.

6:45pm Torch is received in Paradise Spring Historic Park. Local celebration including vocal performances, remarks, food, and activities will begin.
