Vocal Impact To Perform Year-End Concert Sunday

WABASH,Indiana — The Honeywell Foundation Vocal Impact Youth Choirs, directed by Emily France will perform their year-end concert at the Honeywell Center Ford Theater on Sun., May 15 at 3 p.m. Vocal Impact performs its year-end concert under the direction of Emily France. Vocal Impact is funded in part by a grant received from the Community Foundation of Wabash County.

The Vocal Impact consists of 3 separate choirs according to age and/talent.  Performing first will be Choir One singing “Sing a Song” and “You Are My All in All”. Choir members are Chloe Bishir, Olivia Braun, Max Carpenter, Tyler Compton, Gavin Dale, Micah Dale, Kalli Davis, Grace Drake, Zarla Dunn, Kaden Graf, Drew Guenin-Hodson, Lilly Hobbs, Kaelyn Johnson, Khloe Johnson, Kasey Lamson, Kimmy Lamson, Skylar Lamson, Neil Long, Vyncent Meeks, Drayton Rowe, Coltyn Sellers, and Lillean Shear.

Performing next will be the Junior Choir singing “Disini Senang” and “Let It Shine”. Choir members are Ava Bishir, Amarah Bowers, Ella Dale, Harrison Dale, Piper Ellet, Sophia France, Ashleigh Hadley, Autumn Isaacs, Kyndall Shear, Ruby Weaver, Khloye Wood, and Marlie Wright.

The Elite Choir will perform a total of four songs including, “Alleluia”, “You Raise Me Up”, “I’ll Be There” (soloist, Kaden Graf) and “We Shall Overcome”.  Members include, Faith Bartram, Grace Bryant, Sara Buga, Holly Coffelt, Ellie Daniel, Isabel France, Maggie France, Solomon France, Mikayla Genovese, Ethan Haynes, Marcus Haynes, Quinn Haynes, Emma Holloway, Alexa Johnson, Eli Kroh, Alivia Lucas, Josh Maggart, Quinn Maggart, Hannah Miller, Emelia Paris, Rylee Paris, Timmy Rensberger, Eva Sears, Kennedy Watson-Haynes, Lexi Wright and Trey Wright.

The concert’s conclusion will be a combined performance of all three choirs singing “Children Will Listen” and “One Voice” (solo by Faith Bartram).

Mrs. France is assisted by piano accompanist Susan Vanlandingham and a staff of volunteers including Beth Perkins, Kristine Risher and Ann Unger.

The Vocal Impact youth choirs have been carefully planned and structured to provide an overall character-building experience for all involved. In addition to learning notes, students will also learn and recite “lifeways” about important characteristics such as responsibility, respect, honesty and perseverance.
