Visit Wabash County announces launch of brand new website

WABASH, IN- Visit Wabash County (VWC) announces the launch of a brand new
website. The website is available at visitwabashcounty.com and is ready to help locals
and visitors alike plan their next adventure in Wabash County.
Discover the best of Wabash County with enhanced features including advanced
search filters, real-time updates on hotspots, and curated guides to help you find the
perfect places to visit. Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures, local attractions, or
hidden gems, the user-friendly website has every interest covered! Explore the website
now and unlock the wonders of Wabash County!
“I have worked behind the scenes with Javon Bel, president of Belaire Studios, for wel
over a year to carefully plan each individual page for maximum efficiency and user
experience,” said Biz Bishop, content manager for Visit Wabash County. “Even the
tiniest details have to be carefully planned and then translated from the design stage
to the coding stage to testing and finally to what you see today.”
Now every page with a long listing of information has been made filterable, allowing
the user to streamline the process of searching for exactly what they are looking for. An
example is the Eat & Drink page which is 4 pages without filtering. Now this page can
be filtered by location, what amenities the restaurant offers, and what category of food
the eatery serves. Simply clicking on the “ice cream” category drops the number of
options from 70 to 7. The other pages with the filter feature are shopping, outdoor
adventure, on the water, stay, farms & orchards, and gather.
The new site also is home to the LiveIN Wabash County campaign where VWC and
Imagine One 85 have teamed up together to gather al resources that appeal to those
considering making the move to Wabash County. It is a one-stop to find places to live,
things to do, education options, and get in contact with residents who provide the
inside scoop on what it is like to LiveIn Wabash County. This new hub is the first step of
the Countywide branding initiative that is prioritized in the Imagine One 85 Plan.
“The partnership between Visit Wabash County and Imagine One 85 was formed to
help combat the declining population that Wabash County has faced for over 40
years,” said Alex Downard, Director of Imagine One 85. “We wanted to come up with a
unique way to showcase the best of Wabash County and al we have to offer. Since
Visit Wabash County acts as the chief marketing agency for the County, partnering with
their team made perfect sense for the effectiveness and sustainability of the new LiveIN
Wabash County branding initiative.”
The VWC website overhaul took more than a year to come to fruition and the
improvements to the site have already proven beneficial, with an influx in users and
decreased bounce rates.
“The website is what we refer to as our foundation from which al information and
marketing campaigns spring from,” said Bishop. “I am proud of the finished website and
am even more excited to track the analytical data since its launch.”
