The Salvation Army Christmas Toy Assistance Program

Giving Everyone Hope for a Merry Christmas

Every year, The Salvation Army of Miami County provides Christmas toys to children in need through the Angel Tree, and Toy Shop programs. Children (ages 0-15) who are registered for the Angel Tree program will have their specific Christmas wishes listed on Angel Tree tags, which are “adopted” and fulfilled by community members and organizations. For the children who are not “adopted” the parents will be able to “shop” in the toy store that will be set up with new toys donated from the community members, organizations, and toys-for-tots.

We will be taking applications for Christmas Assistance on November 13th and November 20th from 9:00am -1:00pm. This will take place in the gym of Parkview United Methodist Church, 1785S SR19, Peru Indiana. To ensure the safety of both the applicants and Salvation Army staff social distancing will be followed and mask will be preferred.

  • Government-issued picture ID for the parent/guardian of the household
