Teresa Darlene Fraustein, 61, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 7:15 p.m. on December 14, 2023, at Marion General Hospital. She was born on April 4, 1962, to Thomas Henderson and Joan (Stevens) Carrender in Marion, Indiana.
Teresa was a 1980 graduate of Southwood High School. She married Thomas Fraustein on April 12, 1980. She was a homemaker and also worked at the LaFontaine Elementary School. Teresa enjoyed gardening, flowers, and working on computers. Teresa loved her family and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Thomas Fraustein of LaFontaine, Indiana; two daughters, Stacey (Beau) Strack of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Nicole Fraustein (Adam Whiteman) of LaFontaine, Indiana; two grandchildren, Allyce Strack and Maximilian Strack; two brothers, Jeff (Kay) Henderson of Logansport, Indiana, Raymond Henderson of Warren, Indiana; two sisters, Lisa (Larry) Kirksey of Butler, Georgia, Melissa Henderson (Codie Wright) of Marion, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Homes, LaFontaine Chapel,104 South Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940 with Pastor Susan Shambaugh officiating. Burial will follow at LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
