Chong “Ginny” Lake, 84, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Autum Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash. She was born on July 30, 1939, in South Korea, then moved to the United States in 1963.
Ginny married Steven Lake in 1967. He passed away on June 12, 2013. She worked at Wabash Magnetics and Hiz Inc. in Wabash before retiring. She was a member of Wabash Friends Church in Wabash. Ginny enjoyed playing Bingo.
Ginny is survived by two special friends, Penny Penix of Wabash, Indiana, Joyce Shepherd of North Manchester, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana at a later date.
