Tara N. Hodges, 45, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 1:48 AM on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on Wednesday, January 03, 1973, in Blackford County, IN. She married Grover R. Hodges on Friday, February 11, 2000 in Hartford City, IN.; he preceded her in death on May 23, 2017. Tara was a graduate of Blackford High School. She attended Pleasantdale United Methodist church. She had worked at BRC in Montpelier for several years. Tara enjoyed looking for antiques, golfing, decorating, and spending time with her sons and family.
Tara will be sadly missed by her Parents- Bill & Sandy (Reff) Lips, Montpelier, IN, Sons – Darrin Ray Hodges, Montpelier, IN, David Robert Hodges, Montpelier, IN, Step Daughter – Sara M. Hodges, Muncie, IN, Step Grandson – Nathan Huff, Muncie, IN, Brother – Adam Lips, Montpelier, IN, Paternal Grandmother – Nedra Lips, Hartford City, IN Mother in Law- Eileen Pregeant, and Nephew- Luke Lips and his family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband – Grover R. Hodges, Paternal Grandfather – William Lips, and Maternal Grandparents – Don & Katherine “Katie” Reff.
At this time there will be no calling or services. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
