Steven P. (Balesie) Bales

Steven P. (Balesie) Bales, 63, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 6:46 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1955, in Jay County, IN.  He married Tina (Enochs)  Bales on Tuesday, July 05, 2005 in Gatlinburg, TN.  Steve was a 1973 graduate of Southern Wells High School. He had worked at McCammon Trucking, Carter Express, Rich Logistics, Bales bros. Construction, Hy-Line, and was currently driving truck for NRP in Montpelier, IN. He was a former member of the Montpelier & Blackford Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Reserves. Steve was a member of the Cycle Riders of Blackford Co., and B.T.W. (Brothers of the third wheel).

(McDonald) Bales, Bluffton, IN, Wife – Tina (Enochs) Bales, Montpelier, IN, Son – Luster (Kaleigh) Bales, Keystone, IN, Daughters – Sherri Bales, Montpelier, IN,  Stephanie (Zach) Rarey, Aiken, SC, Heather (James) Edwards, Hagerstown, IN, Candace (Joe) Burns, Hopedale, IL, Brother – Stan (Deb) Bales, Montpelier, IN, Father & Mother In Law – Richard & Annette Enochs, Hartford City, IN, 18 Grandchildren, and 1  Great Grandchild.

 

He was preceded in death by his Father – Glenn A. Bales.

 

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

 

A service to celebrate his life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home  at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 with Tim Coonce   officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pennville I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
