Stephen Ray Warner, 67, of Marion, passed away at 1:40 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Marion Health. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on Friday, November 16, 1956, to James Claude Warner and Thelma Nadine (Lester) Warner Hensley. He was married to Panditta (Drook) Warner, who survives.
Stephen graduated from Marion High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God.
Stephen loved doing artwork, as well as writing poems and making walking sticks. He will be remembered as one who loved telling jokes and making people laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Panditta Warner of Marion; daughters, Lillian Warner and Angela (Chris) Gideon; son, Justin (Andrea) Dray; grandchildren, Rowdy Dray, Izzy Gideon, and Atlas Swanzy; brother, James (Helga) Warner; sister, Janet (GE) Lashbrook; and brother-in-law, Bruce Pratt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Charles Foster Warner; and sister, Lenetta Pratt.
The family will have a Celebration of Life for Stephen at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 5909 S. Jay St., Marion, IN.
