Richard “Rick” L. Hamilton, 54, Marion, passed away at 4:51 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. A lifelong resident of Fairmount, Rick was born on January 29, 1964, to Jack Hamilton and Vickie (Underwood) Moore. He married Donna Hamilton, and she survives.
Rick attended Madison-Grant High School and was self-employed throughout his life. He loved fishing, riding his bike, hunting, and playing the lottery.
He is survived by his children: Tabitha Hamilton, Richard Hamilton, Amber Hamilton, and Chaz Swain, all from Marion; granddaughter, Emma Hanes, Marion; mother, Vickie (Kenneth) Moore, Marion; siblings: Tami Weesner, Van Buren; Lisa Kennedy, Marion; Harry James Hamilton, Fairmount; and Jack Lee Hamilton, Jr., Marion; several step-brothers and step-sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with Rick’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
