Fred Lee Trosper

Fred Lee Trosper, 77, from Westfield, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Harbour Manor Health and Living Community in Noblesville.  He was born in Milo, IN, on April 2, 1941, to the late William Perry and Thelma Deloris (Parks) Trosper.

Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Army and, following his military service, was a truck driver until his retirement.  He was also a farmer.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to casinos, and working on cars and lawn mowers.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Starns, Lafayette; son, David Adcock, Gas City; grandchildren, Shayna Sowles, Rebecca Flowers, and Justin Sowles; great-granddaughter, Kaliyah Davis; and siblings, Linda, Cinda, Danny Trosper Sr., Gas City, and William “Spud” Trosper, Gas City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Carpenter, Helen Hazelwood, Shelby Cliff, Alice “Sue” Elliot, Chuck Trosper, Tony Trosper, Ted Trosper, and Billy Ray Trosper.

Family and friends may call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with Fred’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019, at VA Protestant Chapel, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN.  Burial will follow at Marion National Cemetery.
