Rhonda L. Hohman, 65, of Marion, passed away in her home at 8:45 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born in Huntington, Indiana, on Monday, November 25, 1957, to DeVerle D. and Pauline (Hamilton) Carroll.
Rhonda graduated from Marion High School (1976) and worked at Wiley Metal. She was an avid bowler, and she loved reading books. “Best Fiends” and “Cookie Jam” were her favorite games to play. Other than that, Rhonda was a homebody.
Rhonda is survived by her children, Chasity (Paul) Johnson of Swayzee, Dean (fiancée Erica) Dipert of Tunker, IN, and Ashley Chitwood of Marion; siblings, Dinah (Theron) Gray of Decatur, IL, Jay (Kim) Carroll of Marion, Scott Carroll of Marion, Keith Carroll of Chicago, IL, and Penny (Gary) Benson of Fayetteville, NC; brother-in-law, Steve Herring of Marion; and grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Cody Johnson, Seth Dipert, and Lilly Chitwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Tammy Sue Baker and Kimberly K. Herring.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Rhonda.
