Deborah Lynn “Debbie” (Conliff) Young, age 58, of Marion passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, in her home. Her mansion in Heaven was ready, so Jesus said, “Come Home My Child”.
Debbie was born on September 26, 1964, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Phillip Conliff, Sr. and the late Gloria (Harvey) Barrett. Her father survives. She married Dennis Lee Young on December 6, 2008, and he survives in Marion. Debbie loved everyone and told them often.
She is also survived by a daughter, Shaleea Kay Conliff of Marion; a daughter from heart, Tonya Scheffer- Brown (David) of Wabash; a son, Shane Conliff (Chevelle) of Marion; grandchildren, Hayden Lee Conliff, Ty Alan Wigner, Lylah Conliff and Novalynn Conliff; sisters, Nita Hall (Michael) of Georgia, Brenda Adams (David) of Missouri, and Susan Phillips of Georgia ; favorite aunts, Nancy Ball, Esther Conliff-France (Ronnie), Patty Harvey-McCormick (David); best friend, Debbie Bodkins; childhood life-long friends, Tammy (Beckett) Martin, Sandy Beeks-Roberts (Terry), Sue Cress-Teusch (Bruce); Texas Dad, Allen Brucker; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was also called grandma by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria (Harvey) Barrett; her grandparents, Edward and Katherine Harvey, and Authur and Ida Conliff; step-mother, Marie Conliff; Texas Momma, Jackie Brucker; aunt and uncle, Linda and Bill Niverson; uncle, Mike Harvey; daughter from her heart, Misty (Scheffer) Flores; mother-in-law, Lois Ervin; sister-in-law, Marta Young- Gillespie; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Chuck Vernon officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana at 1:00 p.m.
