Peggy Sue Holloway, 89, Marion, passed away at 7:01 pm on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born in Wabash, Indiana, on Thursday, June 22, 1933, to Victor H. and Celia Maria (Brewer) Boardman. On July 4, 1979, she married Donald D. Holloway, and he preceded her in death.
Peggy graduated from Laketon High School and attended Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University). She was a realtor with Century 21 and a member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church.
Peggy always rode motorcycles and was in a motorcycle club. After retirement, she always enjoyed a good game of cards with the girls. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing. She especially loved being with her grandkids and great-grandkids and spending time with her friends.
Survivors include her sons, Jay R. Malott of Aurora and Jeffrey J. (Yolanda) Malott; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole (Derek) Lord, Jordan Victoria (Scott) Malott, and Jacqueline Suzanne Malott; great-grandchildren, Mason Cole, Hallston Ava, and Remmy Rae; and siblings, Victoria Leonard, John (Marilyn) Boardman, Vonnie Jines, and Bob Boardman.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Sharon Malin, Randy Boardman, and Rick Boardman.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Peggy’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Sonnefield officiating. Inurnment will take place at Grant Memorial Park at a later date.
