Rhonda K. Lawing Marley, 62, of Marion, formerly of North Manchester, passed away at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion on March 22, 1959, to Dane and Ruth Anna (Bollhoefer) Lawing.
Rhonda graduated from Marion High School. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She always enjoyed the chance to be outdoors. More than anything, she cherished her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Anna Lawing; daughter, Jenny (Phil) Rickard of Hesperia, MI; son, Brian (Wendy) Marley of Marion; grandchildren, Karissa Marley, Eva Marley, Hanna Rickard, and Chloe Rickard; brother, Tim (Roxanna) Lawing of MO; sister, Diana (Ervin) Turner of Marion; sister-in-law, Beth Lawing of Fairmount; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dane C. Lawing; brother, Dane Lawing, Jr.; and companion, Randy Turner.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Rhonda’s life will begin at 4:00 pm with Pastor Zack Working officiating.
