Rebecca S. (Atkinson) Graves

Rebecca S. (Atkinson) Graves, 81, of Huntington, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Heritage of Huntington. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on November 24, 1941, to Beryl and Betty (McCoy) Atkinson.  On November 10, 1962, she married Thomas M. Graves, and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2020.

Rebecca graduated from Beauty School and was a beautician at Lucy’s in Gas City. She was also the owner and operator of Twin City Beauty Shop in Jonesboro. She enjoyed crocheting and was an Indianapolis Colts fan. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

Rebecca is survived by her sons, Thomas M. (Tammy) Graves, II, of Marion and Todd A. (Lori) Graves of Huntington; grandchildren, Thomas M. Graves, III, of Marion, Aron Davis of Georgia, Kyle (Serena) Graves of Valparaiso, Kody Graves of Valparaiso, Dean (Patti) Losure of Marion, Harley Losure of Marion, and Tiffany Potter of Marion; great-grandchildren, Gracie Jo (Michael) Seybold, McKenzie Hall, Kady Graves, Nova Graves, Jalynn Graves, Harmani Graves, Alyssa Losure, Lexi Hamilton, Kendra Hamilton, Kruz Graves, Karter Graves, Jayden Hamilton, Alex Losure, and Elaina Goodine; two great-great-grandchildren, Kingsley Seybold and Princeton Seybold; sister, Kathy J. Stalder of California; and brother, Chris L. (Linda) Shook of Illinois.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Davis; and grandson, Tyler Graves.

A graveside service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
