Bryan Joseph Carpenter, 58, of Gas City, went to be with his Lord in his home at 1:30 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born in Marion to the late Marion Joseph and Mary Alice (Rindinger) Carpenter.
Bryan was a 1983 graduate of Madison-Grant High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, listening to music, working on small engines, and just being with family.
He will be missed by his brothers, Jess (Grace) Carpenter of Gas City and Les Carpenter of Fairmount; nieces and nephews, Christina, Vanessa, Angelina, and Joseph (fiancée, Teresa, and her children, Kennedy, Lila, and Viktor); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca, Krista, and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion “Bud” Carpenter and Mary (Rindinger) Carpenter; sister, Rachena Carpenter; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Carpenter.
At Bryan’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
