Rebecca Danielle Marie Dixon, 47, Marion, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on June 3, 1976, to Danny and Sharon (Fortner) Dixon.
Rebecca graduated from Marion High School in 1994 and furthered her education at Ivy Tech Community College, where she received her nursing degree. She worked as a traveling nurse and also worked at Miller’s Merry Manor, Colonial Oaks Health Care Center, and Aperion Care.
She loved her daughter, who was her world, and she was fully invested in her. Rebecca enjoyed watching her play softball. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and Harley-Davidsons.
She will be missed by her daughter, Adisyn Foustnight; mother, Sharon Dixon; father, Danny (Bobbie) Dixon; four brothers, Shane (Cassandra) Dixon, Shaun (Mindy) Dixon, Andy Circle, and Gabriel Hehe; several nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Chad (Ashlee) Dixon.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Rebecca’s life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ben Watkins officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
