Brittany Brianne Baker, 31, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, August 19, 1992, to Michael Baker and Jennifer (Rowe) Baker.
Brittany graduated from Mississinewa High School and had worked at York House in Marion. She previously worked at Chrysler in Kokomo. Brittany enjoyed spending time with her children and especially liked going to their sporting events. She was a natural caregiver and had planned on going back to school to get into nursing. Brittany will be remembered as a loving, strong-willed, and giving woman who always wanted to help others.
Survivors include her father, Michael Baker; mother, Jennifer (Thomas) Kerr; sons, Conner Hisey, Dominik Hisey, Maverick Hisey, Easton Hisey, and Cillian Davis; brothers, Christopher Baker and Wyatt (Elizabeth) Baker; sister, Haley Franks; grandmother, Elizabeth (Pete) Wooster; grandfathers, Danny (Sheri) Rowe and Lloyd (Ruthanne) Baker; great-grandmother, Evelyn Rowe; special aunt, Kristy Rowe; former husband, Matt Hisey; plus several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, IN.
A funeral service to celebrate Brittany’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Rybolt Chapel. Pastor John Key will be officiating with burial following at Thrailkill Cemetery.
