Ralph Paul Behrens, 63, of Huntington, IN, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
Mr. Behrens was born on May 26, 1953, in Marshfield, WI, to Dale and Valrene H. (Duginski) Behrens. His father survives and resides in Marshfield, WI. His mother preceded him in death.
Ralph graduated from St. Lawrence Seminary High School, Mt. Calvary, WI. Ralph was born in Marshfield, WI, and relocated to Huntington, IN in 1972. He came to Huntington to pursue a life as a friar at St. Felix. At that time he attended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington. While living here he was a supervisor at Pyle Industry for many years. Ralph retired recently, January 3, 2017, from Bendix in Huntington as a service technician.
Ralph’s true passions in life were his faith, collecting miniature collectable cars, watching every movie made, watching and enjoying the Green Bay Packers and spending as much time as possible with his loved ones, siblings, nieces and nephews.
Along with his father, Dale Behrens, Marshfield, WI, he is survived by his companion, Tammy Caley, Huntington, IN; one brother, Phillip (Kay) Behrens, Huntington, IN; four sisters, Constance (John) Behrens-Huffstetter, Milwaukee, WI, Valerie Behrens, Madison, WI, Kristine (Dan) Taylor, Spencer, WI, and Ann (Mike) Green, Verona, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nephews and nieces.
Along with his mother, Valrene, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Behrens.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hours at 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN.
A private burial will be at a later date in Wisconsin.
