Penelope Ann Correll, 77, of Marion, passed away in her home at 9:20 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022. She was born in Bunker Hill, Indiana, on Saturday, July 21, 1945, to Richard and Coleen Henchon. She was married to Nelson Correll, who preceded her in death.
Penelope worked at General Plastics for 30 years and retired in 1990. She loved Jesus and was the kindest, most generous person. Penelope loved to bake and was famous for her potato soup and pineapple upside down cake. She also loved to do crossword puzzles.
Penelope is survived by her daughters, Traci Murphy of Marion, Jaci Miller of Marion, and Sherri (Dale) Miller of Marion; brother, Dowayne Henchon; sisters, Denise (Chris) Danforth, Sabra Miller, Paulette Marley, Roxanne (Gary) Lewis, Triela (Danny) Lewis, and Melody (Richard) Mason; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Tammy Miller and Kandi Davis; son, Ronnie Miller; grandson, Brandon Miller; great-grandson, Kamaree Lee; and sister, Linda Treber.
At Penelope’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
