Delbert Furnish, Jr., 81, of Andrews, passed away at 6:34 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022, in his home. He was born in Jonesboro on Monday, March 24, 1941.
Delbert was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Following his military service, he worked at Dana Corp., where he was a machine operator. After 34 years of employment at Dana, he enjoyed the relaxation of retirement. He was a Master Mason and was involved in the Shriners. Delbert also liked hunting, as well as working in his yard.
Survivors include his sons, Delbert Furnish, III, of Andrews, and Yancy Furnish of Andrews; grandson, Doug Skeens; and granddaughter, Adrianna Craig.
He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Furnish, Sr.; former wife, Paula J. Furnish; and daughter, Patricia Skeens.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Delbert. Burial will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory.
