Dao Du Pham, 82, of Marion, passed away at 7:10 pm on Monday, September 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Services in Indianapolis. He was born in Hue, Vietnam, on December 8, 1939, to Sinh and Loi (Nguyen) Pham. He married Hong Thi (Nguyen) Pham on November 19, 1964, and she survives.
Dao was a mail carrier for 17 years with USPS, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He loved fishing and working on electronics, as well as watching sports. Above all, Dao was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who cherished the time he spent with family.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his sons, Phong (Van) Pham of Houston, TX, Thai (Alana) Pham of Perth, Australia, and Loc (Thu) Pham of Houston, TX; daughters, Tigon (Jeff) Dausman of Indianapolis and Joyce (Matthew) Simpkins of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Mitchell, Ethan, Kyle, Harrison, Wynton, Mia, Evie, Ian, Sawyer, Isabella, Lilian, Hudson, Luke, Rowan, and Elaine; and several extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
On Monday, September 12, 2022, a Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1031 W. Kem Rd., Marion, IN. Father Hilary Okeke will be officiating.
