Nichole “Coley” Houane Fisher

Nichole “Coley” Houane Fisher, 15, of rural Roann, Indiana, died at 3:25 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.  She was born on September 30, 2008, in Huntington, Indiana, to Nicholas M. Fisher and Out (Saengkeo) Fisher Powell.

Nichole was a student at Northfield High School where she was a member of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. She also was a member of the student council, Key Club, and was a straight A student. Nichole loved going to the beach, and especially enjoyed hanging out with her brothers, her best friend Claire, spunky monkies, and her puppy Drax.  

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Out and Trent Powell of rural Roann, two brothers, Michael L. Fisher and Mason N. Fisher, both of rural Roann, sister, DeLaney Powell of Mishawaka, Indiana, grandparents, Michael & Sharon Fisher, Houane Saengkeo, all of Wabash, IN, and Steve (Carolyn Meyer) Powell of rural Roann, aunts and uncles; Tia Fisher of Wabash, Aet “Jay” Ely of Fishers, Indiana, Tou “TJ” Hendrix of Westfield, Indiana, Aeyai Saengkeo of Wabash, Aenoy (Raven) Saengkeo of Westfield, and Lay Daniel (Bailey) Saengkeo of Pendleton, Indiana, cousins; Silas and Nalani Hendrix, VanhLay Saengkeo, Lynnie Saengkeo, Mila Saengkeo, and Pierce Saengkeo. She was preceded in death by her dad, Nicholas M. Fisher, and her grandpa, Lay Saengkeo.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, 2147 IN-15, Wabash, with Jackie Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.  Friends may call 2:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, at the church. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
