Kimberly Ann Hamm

Kimberly Ann Hamm, 56, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:50 am, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center in LaFontaine, Indiana.  She was born on May 28, 1967, in Peru, Indiana, to Douglas Carr and Patricia (Temple) Blackman.

Kimberly attended Peru schools through her freshman year and was a 1984 graduate of Fort Wayne Southside High School. She received her Associates Degree from Indiana Business College. She married Ricky Allen Hamm at the LaFontaine Christian Church on December 31, 2004. Kimberly worked as a medical assistant. She was a member of the Christian Heritage Church in Wabash. Kimberly loved the Lord, enjoyed riding horses, reading, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching her grandson play baseball.  

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Allen Hamm of Wabash; two children, D.J. (Bobbie Jo) Willis of Peru, and Anastasia (Richard) Hawkins of Wabash; three step children, Nicholas Hamm of Gas City, Indiana, Erik (Jennifer) Hamm of Wabash, and Alannah (Griffen) Pollen of Gas City; three grandchildren, Olivia, Chamberlain, and Cambree Hawkins; several step grandchildren; father and step mother, Douglas (Janis) Carr of Fort Wayne; mother, Patricia Blackman of Peru; and her siblings, Valorie Witt of Greenwood, Indiana, Tifinni (Jason) Tegan of Lagrange, Illinois, Veronica (Alex) Zamiar of Chicago, Illinois, Greg (Brooke) Blackman and Jeremy (Emily) Blackman, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  

Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Friday, November 3, 2023, at Christian Heritage Church, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Prater officiating. Friends may call 9-11am Friday, at the church. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is American Diabetes Association.
