Nancy A. Runkle, 78, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at her residence in Columbia City, IN. She was born on Wednesday, May 01, 1940, in Auburn, IN. She married Gerald Runkle on Sunday, June 28, 1959 in Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, Eaton, IN. Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Eaton High school where she was a member of the National Honor’s Society. She also attended Ball State University Teachers college. She was a member the Mt. Carmel Methodist church of Eaton, IN. and also Delta Theta Tau Society in Columbia City, IN. Nancy enjoyed watching Purdue basketball and football games and never missed seeing her grandchildren playing in their high school sports. She enjoyed rowing the boat on Crooked Lake, walking several miles each day, loved working with her flowers, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her Father – Kenneth Duff, and Mother – Gladys (Feasel) Duff.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 with Dan Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Montpelier.
