Monty L. Quick, 76, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 4:30 AM on Saturday, January 05, 2019 at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on Sunday, October 25, 1942, in Blackfork, OH. He married Judy Quick on Saturday, March 29, 1986 in Panama, OK. Monty attended Oak Hill High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College and Ohio State University. Monty served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. He was a supervisor of Fisher Body in Marion, was in the Swimming Pool business, and was a Well Digger. Monty volunteered at St. Martins in Marion and provided food to the needy and to friends in the community.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Clyde Calvin Quick, Mother – Mary (Brewer) Quick, Brother – Edward Quick, and Brother – Jackie Quick

A service to celebrate his life will be at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 201 N Main Street Van Buren at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 09, 2019 with the Pastor Jeremy Cowin officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the US Army.
