Mitzi Lee (Sheets) Spence, 46, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 7, 1976, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Robin Wayne and Laura Lee (LaFon) Sheets.
Mitzi was a graduate of Delphi Community High School and a US Navy veteran. She married William Dale “Bill” Spence in Kokomo, Indiana on August 23, 2018. Mitzi enjoyed crafts, reading,watching cooking shows, cooking, taking drives to see the countryside, walking through the woods, mushroom hunting, restoring old furniture, and her dog Buddy.
She is survived by her husband, William Dale “Bill” Spence of Wabash, Indiana; daughter, Savannah Deel of Camden, Indiana; mother, Laura Lee Sheets of Lafayette; father, Robin Wayne Sheets of Lafayette; sister, Serena King of Asheville, North Carolina, and her mother-in-law, Kay Robbins of North Manchester, Indiana.
There will be a Celebration of Mitzi’s life at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
