Mildred M. Morris, 91, Gas City, passed away at 7:01 am on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Marion Health. She was born in Kentucky, on Friday, August 15, 1930, to James and Bessie Fuqua. On December 3, 1949, she married Ralph Morris.
Mildred worked at Anchor Glass, retiring in 1972. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Gas City and enjoyed the company of “Lucky” the family dog. She loved playing the piano and fishing. She was a very gracious lady and will be missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Gail) Morris of Gas City; sister, Lellian Pardine Keller of New Lennox, IL; grandsons, Cody Morris of Fort Wayne, Jeremy Morris of Gas City; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph Morris.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Mildred ‘s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Joe Shaver officiating. Burial will take place at Jefferson Cemetery.
