Michele R. Whitaker, 47, Marion, died at 8:43 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion, IN, to the late Glen and Bobbie R. (Sanders) Whitaker.
Michele loved spending time with her family, especially with her nephews. Some of her favorite activities were family movie nights.
Michele is survived by her son, Kristopher (Madison McKinney) Whitaker, Marion; sister, Lynn (Russell) McClain, Marion; brother, Jeff (Gina) Whitaker, Converse; nieces, Brandi Wright, and Whitney (Chad) Neher, Swayzee; and nephew, Cody McClain; and great-nephews, Conner, Chase, and Camden Wright.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Grant Memorial Park Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Nathan Dodson officiating.
