MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – Miami County Animal Shelter, Kulla’s K-9 Center Inc. has chosen NOT to renew it’s animal control contract with the county after six years in service. The animal shelter will be closed starting December 31st. The contract is renewed every two years and Susan Kulla served for three contract terms. She is the owner of Kulla’s K-9 Center and cited stress as the primary reason for ending the contract as well as a desire to pursue other endeavors.
