MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. – Miami Correctional Facility has named its Employees of the Quarter. Those honored include: Matthew Bishir of Converse, Division of Investigations and Intelligence Security Threat Group Coordinator, Employee of the Quarter (non-custody); Heather Claxton of Kokomo, Dry Cleaning Supervisor, Supervisor of the Quarter (custody or non-custody); Officer Tracey Sykes of Peru, Officer of the Quarter; and Dr. Marlene Parker, Lead Psychologist, Contract of the Quarter. These outstanding staffers set good examples for others, take part in special projects, exercise good judgment, demonstrate enthusiasm for work, demonstrate outstanding achievement, are team-oriented, display dependability and perseverance, have a positive attitude, communicate well with others, and display professionalism.
“These individuals were awarded because they have gone above and beyond expectations,” said Superintendent Kathy Griffin, “They are role models to there peers and to our offender population and I’m glad they are a part of our staff.”
