Mary E. Angle, 96, formerly of Peru, passed away at 10:25am on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.
Mary was born in Miami County, Indiana on May 17, 1921 to Samuel H. Butt and Edith Fouts Imhoff. She married Curtis Angle on February 18, 1945, was formerly employed at Redmon’s in Peru, and loved entertaining guests in her home. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Russell Imhoff, her husband Curtis, and two stillborn son’s Bryan and Bradley.
Mary was especially appreciative of the 68 years that she and her husband, Curtis, spent together. She also wanted to send very special thanks to the staff at Waterford Place Health Campus.
Visitation will be held from 12pm – 2pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Will Jewsbury officiating. Burial will take place at the Chili Cemetery in Chili, Indiana.
