Mark A. Golding, 57, Marion, passed away in Marion General Hospital at 7:36 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2018. He was born in Marion on February 2, 1961, and was the son of the late Richard and Judith (Buckley) Golding. On May 26, 1995, Mark married Crystal Browning, and she survives.
Mark worked in shipping and receiving at Huhtamaki in Marion. He was an outdoors person who loved fishing, hunting rocks and arrowheads, and collecting cars.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 23 years, Crystal; son, Austin Golding, Marion; sister, Kellie Peal, Marion; brothers, Chuck Chaffin, Marion, and Tom Chaffin, Sweetser; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clovis and Margaret Golding; uncle, Charles Golding; and step-dad, Charles Chaffin.
The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. with Mark’s funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating.
