MARION,Indiana – A hotel worker at the Hampton Inn in Marion died Monday afternoon after he fell from a ladder while hanging a tarp in the pool area at the hotel. Marion Police report that 68-year-old Myron Fischer of Jonesboro died when the ladder he was on gave way with him on it. Fischer fell between 10 and 13 feet and hit his head on the concrete. Fisher was a maintenance man at the Hampton Inn and the death has been ruled accidental by the Marion Police who were called to the scene a little after 3pm.
