Lori Anne Bell

Lori Anne Bell, 61, North Manchester, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2024. The second of Weldon F. and Glorea A. (Grossnickle) Bell’s four daughters, she was born November 22, 1962, in Wabash. 

Lori grew up in Miami County and graduated from North Miami High School in 1981. She began working at her parent’s accounting firm, Bell’s Accounting in North Manchester, the following year and proceeded to help others with their financial and tax needs for forty-two years. In 1997, she and her sister Sandy became partners in owning Bells Accounting.

Lori was independent and enjoyed a simple life. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help those in need. Many of those she helped became like family to Lori, and nothing was more important than her family. She was a member of Congregational Christian Church and Izaak Walton League, North Manchester, Indiana Chapter. One of Lori’s favorite sayings was, “God, country, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.”

The loving memory of Lori Anne Bell will be forever cherished by her sisters, Sharlyn K. Bell, Sandra D. Bell, and Jennifer L. Bell, all of North Manchester; bonus children, Justin (Melissa) Moore, Park City, Utah and Kaylie Moore, Warsaw; bonus grandchildren, Canyon Moore, Bridger Moore, Archie Moore, Kinley Moore, and Alexander Alspaugh; lifetime friends, Angela Carrothers, North Manchester, Kristi Nelson, Rochester, and Cathy Hileman, Peru; and many cousins on the Bell and Grossnickle sides.

Family and friends may call Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor Sebrena Cline and Jeff Grossnickle officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1013 West State Road 114, North Manchester, Indiana.
